This low key gathering of like-minded friends is intended to be a fun way to take on a
challenging activity and to raise a little money for the Wounded Warrior Project.

When: A fun run from Nautical Sunrise to Nautical Sunset (7:01 am to 6:18 pm)
on Saturday, December 14, 2013.

What: You will climb Cervidae Peak (1800′ in 2 miles), collect a monkey, and descend
back to the start. How many monkeys are you motivated to collect in 11hrs and 17min?

The RMC Is: A way to put the fun into fundraising.

The RMC Is Not: A race or competition of any kind.

Requirements: None! You are invited to participate and show your support for our
nation’s warriors. If you are able to make a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project, that’s great too.

Donating: We’ll have a bin at the event for your donation.
You can also donate online (enter “Running Monkey Challenge” for
Company/Foundation) here.

Support: Minimal. Mike Blessing is kind enough to make this event possible by supplying a warming tent. You should plan to bring all the food/water that you will need. Also consider the weather conditions and plan accordingly.

Parking: Carpool! There is a pullout near the trail head for parking. Park facing the reservoir (perpendicular to the road) as far from the road as possible. This will enable us to pack as many cars in the pullout as possible. Overflow parking will be in a $5 pay lot a half mile down the road. Shuttles will not be provided.
